Immediate Volunteer Opportunities

Speakers:

Fundraising Chair

Leadership role for Finance Committee; to develop and implement a strategy for raising capital; may be responsible for raising funds, or recruiting and coaching fundraisers, for any of a variety of purposes, such as for the operating budget, a specific event or a specific project. Recruit, train and manage Committee volunteers to implement Board approved plan. Read more here.

Public Relations Chair

Leadership role for Public Relations Committee; engage in promoting and creating good will for California Ships to Reefs by writing or selecting favorable publicity material and releasing it through various communications media. Act as, or recruit and supervise, Public Information Officer. Read more here.

Shows-Events Chair

Leadership role for Shows/Events Committee; design, organize and coordinate conferences, conventions, meetings, seminars, exhibitions, trade shows, festivals and other events. Read more here.

Website Specialist

Work with other members of the Website Committee to create the look and feel of the CSTR website; develop a graphic design that effectively communicates the ideas being promoted; layout and organization of the site, the types of colors or images to use (photos, illustrations, videos, etc.), and other matters concerning overall graphic design.
