HMCS Yukon Websites
In June 2010, CSTR partnered with DiveNav to host a virtual Yukon dive site. Visitor the website (http://www.ediving.us/sitePage.php?site=USACASD_Yukon)
Also in June 2010, CSTR launched a website dedicated to the HMCS Yukon. You can learn more about the Yukon, and experience her transition from a Canadian destroyer to a rich new ocean environment at the Yukon website, http://yukonreef.org. The site also includes an exciting description of the dives available on the Yukon and more about the reefing's history by Dick Long, the Chairman of Project Yukon and the pioneer who made the reefing the first and most scientifically important of its kind.
Enjoy a photo gallery and videos of the Yukon, with pictures of her preparation for sinking and beautiful views of the reef she is now. When you click on the sponsor logos you not only have the opportunity to shop for their quality equipment and services, but you benefit California Ships to Reefs by supporting our organization's sponsors.
"The new Yukon website is our tribute to the first of a whole network of artificial reefs we want to create off the coast of California," said Joel Geldin, Chairman and CEO of CSTR.
